Few things are more frustrating than watching a software video being demonstrated only to find that the example used in the video has been carefully scripted to gloss over limitations or deficiencies in the software.
Something which looks so easy to do in a video turns out to be easy only if specific steps are taken relative to particular situations and conditions used.
Now, I realize that assumptions are made in the interest of saving viewers from having to watch tedious or boring segments but when creating videos, the needs of the audience should be carefully considered.
An audience has responsibilities as well. They need to ask questions and provide constructive comments – not just a thumbs up or down – provide a constructive reason for your response.
Viewer who aren’t content with the content and do nothing about it have only themselves to blame.
